SIDENOR STEEL INDUSTRY SA

SIDENOR plant in Thessaloniki is a modern unit, which produces a wide range of long steel products in various shapes, dimensions and quality specifications. The plant started operating in 1962 and is the first production plant of SIDENOR Group.

In the context of rationalisation of the Group's structure and aiming at a clearer presentation and management of its separate activities, the boards of directors of SIDENOR S.A. and DEPAL S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SIDENOR S.A., decided during their meetings  held on 30.10.2012 on the spin-off of the industrial sector of SIDENOR S.A. which was engaged in scrap recycling and the resultant manufacturing of long iron and steel products and on its contribution to DEPAL S.A. and also on the change of name into SIDENOR STEEL INDUSTRY S.A.  Note that the said transaction had no effect on the Group's financial results given that the absorbing Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Currently SIDENOR STEEL INDUSTRY produces a wide range of steel products:

  • SD Grade C Concrete Reinforcing Steel (B500C - ELOT 1421-3) of high tensile strength and ductility
