SIDENOR Group supplies the Greek and the international markets with a complete range of common steel pipes (widely known in the market as “yellow”, “common” or RWT pipes), cold-formed or hot-formed from hot-rolled steel strip, hot-dip galvanised or black, with threaded ends and one joint. Moreover, it has a wide range of self-coloured structural steel pipes, cold-formed or hot-formed from hot-rolled steel strip.
Construction Steel pipes for other uses are produced at the plants in Almiros, Magnesia, and Ηalkida. The steel pipe manufacturing unit in Almiros has state-of-the-art equipment and has an annual manufacturing capacity of 150,000 tonnes. The plant in Ηalkida manufactures hot-rolled steel pipes, fully annealed at 850οC – 1,100οC, with unique workability and strength advantages, and has an annual manufacturing capacity of 35,000 tonnes.
These pipes are produced in St37-2 / S235 steel grade.

The common (yellow) steel pipes are for general use without any specific requirements and/or specifications (standards). The regulations (TEE & Π.Δ. 38/91) do not allow their use in water/heating/gas networks.
