Steel pipes for scaffolding are produced at the plants in Almyros, Magnesia (SOVEL SA) and Halkida (VET SA). The steel pipe manufacturing unit in Almyros has state-of-the-art equipment and has an annual manufacturing capacity of 150,000 tonnes. The plant in Halkida manufactures hot-rolled steel pipes, fully annealed at 850^οC – 1,100^οC, with unique workability and strength advantages, and has an annual manufacturing capacity of 35,000 tonnes.

The Steel pipes for scaffolding are produced in St37-2 / S235 steel grades with yield strength R_e=235 and complying to ΕΝ39.
